Salary: £38,476 - £40,069 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.
Contract Type: Hybrid - Permanent

Every day will be different - as an ESOL tutor you will be delivering pre-entry to Level 1 courses and accredited qualifications, in community venues around the area. You will have access to resources that enable you to deliver dynamic and innovative teaching, learning and assessment that meets the needs of Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough residents in building skills for everyday life and work. Due to the nature of the role, regular travel will be required.
You should be fluent in English Language and able to communicate effectively, be proactive in working with and supporting colleagues, be prepared to build and help develop learning provision, be confident in embracing innovative teaching, learning and assessment approaches and be able to support the delivery of high-quality learning which meets the diverse needs of our learners. In return you will be well supported and valued within our community-based adult learning provision and provided with scope to build and develop your teaching and assessment practice.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed). A relevant qualification for teaching English as a foreign language (CELTA, DELTA). Ideally qualified to Level 3 in English.
