You will have the opportunity to make a difference to how we deliver our services, and find your greatness helping the Council to achieve its ambition of being a more efficient and responsive Council.

Day-to-day as a Housing Compliance Officer you will help identify service requirements and develop contracts which maximise the use of resources to meet the needs of our customers, while complying with statutory and Council regulations. An important task will be to ensure contract processes are simplified - you will have strong IT skills (including the Microsoft Office suite of tools).

Current Contracts include a wide range of works, services and supplies including building repairs, compliance, stock remodelling, facilities, supplies and consultancy typically ranging from £2k to £1M.

To join us you will ideally have experience in a similar role, and be familiar in procurement methods and contract management, preferably in a Social Housing or Public-Sector environment.
