Team: Children with Disabilities Team South

Job Family: Supporting  -  up to CBG11

Salary: 

Senior Practitioner

£38,479 - £41,632 per annum pro rata + £5,150 MRS per annum pro rata + £4,350 enhanced MRS per annum pro rata

Level 2 Social Worker

£35,992 - £37,536 per annum pro rata - Plus MRS £5,150 per annum, pro rata & Enhanced MRS £3,850 per annum, pro rata 

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location:  You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.

Contract:  Hybrid - Permanent

You will have relevant experience in understanding the best way of applying different social work theories and come up with ideas and knowledge to deliver imaginative ambitious interventions that improve outcomes for all involved. You will also have the communication skills to work with other agencies and present high-quality reports.  This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to develop their social work career.

 

We are proud that in the Children with Disabilities Team we enable workers to gain a vast amount of experience and opportunities in working with families who are subject to CWD Early Help Short Breaks, CWD Short Breaks, Child in Need, Child Protection and Public Law Outline Processes and Court Work.  As part of our work we are embracing MI and systemic models of social work practice.

 

As a Senior Practitioner, you’ll work alongside the Team Manager and have additional responsibility to support the Team Manager and service in developing the team to reflect and meet future need and changes. This is an exciting time to be part of the Children with Disabilities Team as the service adapts and grows.
