Salary: £34,811 - £37, 562 per annum, pro rata - Plus £1000 MRS per annum, pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Hybrid - Working from home and any Council offices, including Priory House, Shefford. You will be expected to attend an office location monthly, and as needed to carry out your role

The role of a ASYE Social Worker
You’ll be joining a team that values innovation and empowers independence. You'll support adults over 18 with a range of needs, including older people, by:
- Completing holistic Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and mental capacity assessments
- Using strengths-based, person-centred approaches to create tailored support plans
- Promoting independence, wellbeing, and inclusion by working creatively with community and technological resources
- Contributing to an agile, responsive team that truly puts people first
About you
- You will hold recognised Social Work qualification
- Be registered with Social Work England
- A passion for supporting people through enabling, strengths-based approaches is essential
- You will have a commitment to professional best practice, continuous learning, and collaborative working
- This is a hybrid role meaning you will work remotely, from Grove View in Dunstable and also regularly visit people in their homes and communities. The ability to travel around Central Bedfordshire is essential for this role.
