We offer a hybrid working environment with a blend of local office hubs, site work and home working. In a supportive team environment, you will work closely with colleagues, less experienced team members, our regulatory partners and our applicants and deals with regulatory compliance, enforcement, dangerous structures and all aspects of Building Regulations.

You will ideally have a degree (or equivalent qualification and experience) in Building Control Surveying or a related subject and be a member of a relevant professional institute. You will also have building control experience, strong communication skills and can show experience and evidence of working on a range of domestic projects in line with your registration. We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, but there is an expectation that the postholder will be able to regularly, probably daily, visit sites across the CBC area.
