Salary: £49,875- £ 53,861 per annum pro rata + £4,600 MRS per annum pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.
Contract Type: Hybrid - Permanent

Here in Central Bedfordshire, we have exciting plans to continue to shape how we work with families and their children. Having recently launched a new dedicated Corporate Parenting Service we are looking to grow and develop the Fostering Service, which is integral to achieving permanence for our children.

We are seeking to recruit a Fostering Team Manager - this is an exciting opportunity to join a team of a passionate and committed management group who recognise that our children are at the heart of everything we do.
The Fostering service is a dynamic and growing service within Central Bedfordshire Corporate Parenting and this role will be integral to supporting the development of this service.
As a Team Manager, you will work closely with other teams within the council to ensure that our assessments, supervision and offer to friends and family carers are comprehensive and effective, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through training opportunities. You must have experience in working with children in care a minimum of five years post qualifying experience.
This role will be providing a high level of professional leadership, motivation and direction to a team of qualified social workers and others to ensure that the service is effective, safe and meets the needs of children, young people and their families.
