About the Role:
Here in our Housing Service we want to help our residents in all walks of life achieve their potential and improve their circumstances. We work to ensure the needs and wishes of all residents are heard, represented and they are empowered to achieve personal, social and economic success. As part of our Gypsy and Traveller team as a Housing Administration Officer you can play your part by providing a professional and efficient support service to our site managers and our residents.
You’ll be part of a varied and dedicated team where flexibility and commitment go a long way. You will ensure our service operates smoothly by dealing with resident enquiries giving effective and helpful advice and providing support to residents. Full training will be provided across all aspects of the role, but we are looking for someone who has good IT skills and is a good communicator. This is a busy role so you will need to have organisation skills and a positive attitude. You will be dealing with low level arrears, case notes and supporting the site managers daily with queries relating to matters on site.
This could be managing site office invoicing, updating resident contact details, telephone duty for the wider team and ordering supplies for the site offices. You will also need to carry out visits and attend various office locations where required therefore a full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. This is an opportunity to join Housing Operations at an entry level position and become part of a busy high functioning team and develop key skills to progress within the housing service. Previous employees within this role have gone on to progress within the team and the wider housing service so we have several success stories and this is a great opportunity for the right person who is keen to succeed. It is a graded role, and the grade will be dependent on skills and experience however opportunities are available to undertake an apprenticeship for the right candidate.
Come and join as us a Housing Administration Officer to support our vulnerable residents to achieve personal, social and economic success- this is a real chance to make a difference in a friendly team that will support you along the way!
