Job Family: Providing - CBG10
Salary: £39,152 - £40,777 per annum pro rata

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Base Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.

Contract Type: Hybrid - Permanent

The Housing Regulation Team is at the forefront of enhancing the Housing Service, ensuring we align with the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023. We are dedicated to supporting quality assurance reporting, performance assessment, and service transformation tailored to the evolving needs of our residents and communities. Collaborating across teams and with external partners, we strive for excellence in housing services and outcomes for our customers.

 

We are recruiting for two Housing Operations Officers to join our team to support our ongoing commitment to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

 

The Role:

As a Housing Operations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing initiatives that underpin our Service Plan objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Delivering initiatives that target the continual improvement of housing services, ensuring they are regulatory compliant and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Conducting quality assurance activities to support regulatory engagement and governance frameworks, demonstrating compliance with consumer standards.
  • Utilising your analytical skills to assess service performance, visualising data effectively, and conducting research to inform improvement planning.
  • Engaging collaboratively with a diverse array of stakeholders, including council staff, elected members, external customers, service suppliers, and regulatory bodies to foster a productive and innovative environment.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A good knowledge of housing policy and legislation is desirable, alongside an understanding of customer satisfaction dynamics. You will hold a relevant Level 3 housing qualification or higher or demonstrate a commitment to achieving this qualification once in post.
  • Proficiency in administration systems, office procedures, and relevant technology to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate statistical data and research findings, enabling informed decision-making and improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication capabilities to effectively engage with internal teams and external partners, fostering collaborative relationships that yield positive outcomes.
