Salary: £43,920 - £48,872 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.
Contract Type: Hybrid - Permanent

About the Role:
Neighbourhood management is the spine of the housing service in terms of the landlord function.
The Neighbourhood Housing Management team are responsible for the delivery of core business functions to a multi-million-pound Housing Service based upon the service plan. The team play a key role in tenancy sustainment, tenancy enforcement, anti-social behaviour, reducing homelessness, tenancy termination, tenancy fraud, management of empty homes and ensuring that our Estates are safe and clean to live in, supporting Central Bedfordshire Council’s corporate objective of excellence and making Central Bedfordshire a great place to live and work.
As Team leader you will be responsible for the effective delivery of these services and the management of the team.
You will also be responsible for the ongoing delivery of key objectives in line with regulatory and consumer standards alongside the Neighbourhood Housing Manager.
To achieve this, you must have housing operations experience and up to date knowledge of Housing Legislation, including anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement and repossession options and be working towards or have a minimum chartered institute of housing level 3 qualification.
