More about the role:

Our Neighbourhood Housing Team plays a vital role in delivering safe, well-managed communities and ensuring residents feel heard, supported and respected. This Team Leader role directly supports our ambition to provide high quality, customer focused housing services that reflect the tenant voice and meet the Consumer Standards for social housing. As we review and evolve how we deliver our services, you will help us find our greatness by leading a team that makes a real and measurable difference to people’s homes and neighbourhoods.

You will oversee the day to day operational management of a diverse neighbourhood team delivering a range of services including tenancy management, antisocial behaviour casework, tenancy enforcement and home ownership services (shared ownership and leasehold). You will provide clear leadership, direction and support to your team, ensuring performance is monitored, cases are managed effectively and residents receive a consistent and high quality service. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will use data, feedback and insight to identify areas for improvement and drive tangible service enhancements. You will oversee complex or high-risk cases, support partnership working and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and good practice. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will balance operational oversight with a strong focus on continuous improvement and positive outcomes for residents.

We are looking for an experienced housing professional with strong knowledge of tenancy management, antisocial behaviour, enforcement and leasehold/ shared ownership services within a social housing setting. You will have proven line management experience and the confidence to lead, motivate and develop a cross functional team. A recognised housing qualification, such as CIH Level 4 or above (or equivalent), is preferred, however we are committed to supporting ongoing professional development and upskilling. You will bring excellent communication skills, sound judgement, resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities while keeping residents at the heart of your decisions.
