Salary: £31,022 - £33,851 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.
Contract Type: Hybrid - Fixed Term until 31st March 2027

About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled team of passionate and committed practitioners who put Children in Care, Care Leavers and Young People Seeking Sanctuary at the heart of everything we do. This role will sit within the Corporate Parenting Service.
You will provide high‑quality, child‑centred support to care leavers, enabling them to make a successful transition to adulthood. The Personal Adviser (PA) will work with young people aged 16–25, offering advice, guidance, advocacy and practical support in line with statutory responsibilities under the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and related legislation.
The role aims to promote independence, resilience, wellbeing and positive outcomes in education, employment, health, housing and relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a personal advisor who wishes to grow and develop as an individual but also as part of a progressive service.
Please be advised that having access to your own transport and willingness to travel is an essential requirement for this role.
