Salary: £53,861 - £57,328 per annum pro rata

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month
Contract type: Hybrid - Permanent

Central Bedfordshire Council is excited to offer this opportunity to join the Children and Families team in the post of Strategic Partnerships Manager.

 

We’re looking for an innovative and dynamic Strategic Partnerships Manager, one who is tenacious about the quality of practice, is committed to excellent services to children and can ensure the whole Council’s performance and impact of practice, are coordinated, progressed and delivered at the expected pace. 

 

You’ll be working within a highly regarded Quality Assurance Service; working across the whole Council including Children’s Social Care, SEND, education and Central Bedfordshire’s Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (CBCSP). You’ll be the Council’s Inspection lead; ensuring Inspections frameworks, processes, best practice, knowledge and skills are evidenced and supports the Council’s development.

 

You’ll influence at all levels; you’ll be an integral, critical friend to strategic and operational teams, providing support, development, coproduction, coaching and mentoring. You’ll work closely with Senior Leaders, Elected Members, Heads of Service, Managers, practitioners and partners and participate in leadership meetings and relevant boards. 

 

You’ll also have the unique opportunity to ensure the Council meets the statutory requirements to fulfil the Children and Young People’s Plan and oversee up to date and relevant local, regional and national surveys, guidance, policies and procedures.
