This includes; waste collection, waste disposal, four Household Waste Recycling Centres, street cleansing, fly-tipping and grounds maintenance. You’ll find your greatness as you play an integral role in delivering these services as part of a proactive team.
As part of this small team, the Technical Officer will be key to assisting the delivery of quality and cost effectiveness of a range of high value, high profile, contracted out services. You will be a point of liaison for the department dealing with a varied range of enquiries with stakeholders both internal and external. You thrive by keeping customers and others informed, with a natural desire for customer satisfaction.
Educated to a good standard and/or with experience in a similar role, you’ll be experienced in dealing with a wide range of customers or colleagues using a professional, knowledgeable and proactive approach. You will have a high level of literacy and numeracy with the ability to process data accurately, coupled with a calm and patient approach to dealing with customers, suppliers and contractors.
Join us as a Technical Officer, and you’ll get the chance to gain insight and knowledge in environmental based services and contract management whilst working with other team members. You’ll also find your own greatness as you support the effective delivery of waste and environmental services.
