Quality Sustainability Officer

Team: Contracts & Compliance Team 

Job Family: Providing – CBG7

Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 per annum pro rata 

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week 

Base Location: Hybrid - Working from home and any CBC offices, including Priory House, Shefford. You will be expected to attend a CBC office location on a monthly basis, and as needed to carry out your role 

Contract Type: Hybrid - Permanent

Our team plays a vital role in supporting and monitoring the quality of commissioned care services, helping to make sure our local social care market is safe, sustainable, and delivering the best possible outcomes for residents.  

 

As our new Quality Sustainability Officer, you’ll help shape the bigger picture and ensure sustainability in our local community. You’ll be involved in evaluating and consolidating fee levels, tracking intelligence with regards to fee levels in line with our contractual arrangements and you will support with clear information and intelligence to support decision making and continue to maintain a stable provider market.  

 

You’ll also work closely with our Contracts & Compliance Team, Brokerage team, and care providers—helping to ensure good communication and strong working relationships across the sector.  

 

What we’re looking for:  

  • Experience working in adult social care  

  • Someone who communicates well, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a busy, supportive team  

  • A naturally curious problem‑solver with an eye for data and detail  

  • Someone eager to learn—full induction and system training are provided
