Base Location - Sandy Depot or Thorn Turn Depot Dependant on Sevice needs

About the Role:

Find your greatness by joining our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Team (NEPT) as one of our Ambulance driver/ Care Assistants. You’ll support non-emergency patients by providing first class, safe care during their transportation between hospital/clinic appointments and their home. You’ll also provide the same quality of care when transporting SEND children to and from schools
Being able to remain calm under pressure is key, as is being willing to undertake training to broaden your knowledge of medical and mental health conditions. A flexible, adaptable approach is required as every day will be different. A Full D1 licence with no restrictions or a PCV licence is required for this role. You must also be able to provide proof of vaccinations as this is a Care Quality Commission regulated activity. This role will be at either our Sandy Depot, Beamish Close, Sandy, SG19 1SD or Thorn Turn Depot, Grendall Lane, Houghton Regis, LU5 6GJ dependant on the demands of the service. The postholder would be required to work at either Depot as needed.
You’ll be able to read, write and speak English fluently and be able to understand and follow policies and procedures supplied to you.
