Salary: £46,142 - £51,356 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week
Base Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.
Contract Type: Permanent - Hybrid

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for managing and leading the income management teams, Gypsy Roma and traveller team and our tenancy sustainment team within a busy Housing Service. Reporting directly to the Income & Financial Inclusion Manager you’ll provide an effective arrears & debt management service & effective gypsy and traveller site Management, leading on all procedures & processes, delivering customer focussed services, that we are proud of. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills and promote CBC’s payment culture across colleagues and customers.
You will need to know about income management, debt recovery, welfare benefits and legislation. Your expertise comes with a degree (or equivalent) plus a confident, customer-focused approach. You can think creatively, solve problems and have previously led a team.
You need to be self-motivated, flexible and well organised and be able to work with your customers, your colleagues and the wider team and partners in achieving the council priorities and objectives in relation to rental income. You’ll be part of a varied and dedicated high performing team where flexibility, hard work, passion and commitment go a long way.
