Salary: £53,861 - £57,328 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.

Contract Type: Hybrid - Fixed term, 2 years

About the role: 

This a fantastic opportunity to become part of a new and effective team who will work tirelessly to promote the educational achievement of all children with a social worker (CWSW).  The post holder will work directly with education settings, foster carers, parents and social workers ensuring that our vulnerable learners access high quality educational provision.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project including leading of termly reviews, managing project budget and the delivery plan. They will implement and give training in respect of the education review so that it can be sustained by social care and schools after the 2-year project.

 

The post holder will be expected to be a qualified teacher. Candidates will need to have experience of working with teachers and other professionals who support children who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties or who are disaffected in an education setting through liaising with professionals and parents/carers.

 

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to identify priorities for improvement of CWSW attainment and provide advice and support to develop practice through experience of knowing the target setting process in schools as well have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of professionals verbally, in writing and using ICT.
