Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month

Central Bedfordshire Council is excited to offer this opportunity to join Children and Families in the post of Quality Assurance Officer.
We’re looking for an innovative and dynamic QA Officer, one who is tenacious about the quality of practice, has an analytical approach, can drive up performance and is committed to excellent services to children.
You’ll be working within a highly regarded QA Service; you’ll undertake quality assurance work across the Local Authority including Children’s Social Care, SEND, education and Central Bedfordshire’s Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (CBCSP).
You’ll also have the unique opportunity to contribute to forensic, analytical work such as: Rapid Reviews, Safeguarding Practice Reviews (SPR), Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHR), etc., and be part of developing and facilitating reflective workshops and other learning sets.
You’ll influence at all levels; you’ll be an integral, critical friend to operational teams, providing support, development, coaching and mentoring, working closely with practitioners, managers, Heads of Service and our Principal Social Worker.
