Quality Improvement Social Worker - Adults Team

Job Family: Supporting – CBG10

Salary: £38,476 - £40,069 per annum pro rata + MRS £7,000 per annum pro rata

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

Base Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.

Contract Type: Hybrid - Permanent

About the Role

Join our dedicated Quality Improvement Team and play a pivotal role in shaping adult social care across Central Bedfordshire. As a qualified Social Worker, you’ll contribute to practice governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement—ensuring services meet the expectations of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and deliver outstanding outcomes for those we support.

You’ll bring professional credibility, frontline experience, and a deep understanding of legal and ethical frameworks to drive meaningful change. This role is central to embedding our Quality Improvement Framework, strengthening governance, and supporting strategic priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support quality improvement activities including audits, service evaluations, and workforce development.

- Coordinate learning initiatives such as reflective presentations, practice reviews and practice sessions.

- Analyse feedback, complaints, and compliments to inform service development.

- Promote a culture of learning, reflection, and data-driven decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and uphold the values of the Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) framework.

 

What We’re Looking For:

- Qualified Social Worker with experience in adult social care.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex practice issues.

- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
